Combining glamour with the glory of God is the marketplace ministry of Karla Kathleen Scott…Aesthetician, Master Makeup Artist, cosmetics-line creator, Beauty Industry trainer, coach and consultant, and God’s “Lash Queen”. She not only is an innovative enhancer of outer beauty: she also helps to bring out one’s divinely-appointed inner beauty as a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel. Scott is a 35-year veteran in the beauty and cosmetics industry. Her moniker “The Lash Queen” was earned as she pioneered the professional eyelash extension landscape in the Central Arkansas area some years ago; paving the way for what is now one of the fastest growing trends in the beauty business. In 2006, as a representative of the Colorado-based NaturaLash, she operated as its only certified instructor in the state, training other beauty industry professionals in Arkansas and surrounding states. In 2012, she built on her NaturaLash expertise to launch her Bump-Her Lashes technique and began offering training in that modality as well. With a passion for passing the baton, Scott banks on her years of Spirit-led business experience and has launched into offering business coaching and consulting services for new entrepreneurs, helping them maximize their skills and gifts. Specialized training in the areas of eyelash extensions, makeup artistry, and advanced skin care and aesthetics was a natural progression for this beauty industry veteran. This is not only training in these areas according to conventional wisdom, but what sets Scott’s training apart is her reliance upon the wisdom of God and a heart for advancing His Kingdom. “I feel like I was born for this hour in time”, Scott says, “It’s an hour when God’s people make a shift to the front of the pack! It is our time to shine!” With a heart-felt desire to help others “unwrap and unpack” their gifts and talents, her own are now in popular demand as a business encourager, trainer, coach and mentor. “You simply cannot consider yourself successful in your endeavors, if you’ve trained no one to do what you know how to do”, Scott says.
